Treaty
Countries
There
are two different types of visas which are available
to foreign citizens whose countries have special treaties
with the U.S.A.: the treaty trader
(E-1), and treaty investor (E-2).
Some countries have treaties for both trade and
investment in the U.S.A. Other countries have
treaties of trade but not investment, or visa versa.
The list of countries that have these treaties change
from time.
The
following countries have treaty trader and/or treaty
investor provisions as of this writing.
-

provisions, allowing only for issuance of E-1 visas.
-

investor provisions, allowing only for issuance of E-2
visas.
-

both treaty trader and treaty
investor provisions.
